WebOct 23, 2016 · The townsite was founded in 1890, the church in 1887 (but it burned to the ground twice). The current church was built in 1937, so it's an old structure! I don't think the town ever had much more than the church and school and a few houses/farms. I'm not sure when the school closed, but the church stopped having weekly services in 1992.
